At ThinkSmart, we have supported the first edition of a professional marketing meeting in Europe. Andrés Vera, co-CEO of the company, gave one of the Marketing Leaders Awards.

The World Marketing Festival is an event created with the aim of becoming a forum to think, share and discuss marketing in different applications: marketing as a strategy, to generate value, and as a tool for progress. There was ThinkSmart as a Sponsor to support the initiative, contact some of the most prominent marketing professionals in Spain, and see first-hand the situation of the sector in Europe.

For four days (from June 27 to 30), the city of Barcelona hosted more than 20 workshops, conferences and debates on marketing trends, creativity, innovation and technology. The event was organized by the Barcelona Marketing Club, ​​to which ThinkSmart belongs since May this year.

The festival mobilized some 4,000 professionals from the marketing world, and ended with the Barcelona Marketing Meeting, a day of lectures held at the auditorium of the city on the afternoon of thursday, June 30. During the event, several renowned professionals took the stage, such as Lluis Bassat, founder of the Bassat & Asociados advertising agency; Juan Luis Polo, founding member and CEO of Territorio Creativo; or Jordi Urbea, Managing Director of OgilvyOne.

In addition to the lectures by some of the professionals in the sector, the Barcelona Marketing Club presented the Marketing Leaders Awards to the companies and directors who have had the most prominent roles in the application of marketing in their companies. The awards were presented in six categories: Efficiency, Innovation, Future, Professional of the Year, Company of the Year and the Special Barcelona Marketing Award. Andrés Vera, co-CEO of ThinkSmart, presented this recognition to the representative for GAES, one of the finalists in the Efficiency category.
